Valorex — Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: [DATE_PLACEHOLDER]
1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and billing work for paid subscriptions to the Valorex contract-analysis service (the "Service"), operated by Asaf Eliyahu (Valorex), located in Israel. This Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
2. Free Trial
We offer a free trial that lets you evaluate the Service before paying, subject to the usage limits described at sign-up. The free trial is the intended way to decide whether the Service meets your needs before you are charged. You are not required to enter payment details to start the trial, and you will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time, through your account settings or by contacting us at support@getvalorex.com. When you cancel:
- You will not be charged for any future billing cycle.
- Your paid access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- After that period ends, your subscription will not renew.
Cancelling is simple and takes effect for future billing only.
4. Refunds
Because we offer a free trial that allows you to fully evaluate the Service before paying, payments already made are non-refundable. Specifically:
- Amounts already charged for the current billing period are not refunded when you cancel.
- Amounts charged for past billing periods are not refunded.
- Cancelling stops future charges; it does not reverse charges already made.
In other words: cancellation is always available and stops future billing, but it is separate from a refund. We do not refund subscription fees you have already paid for periods in which you had access to the Service.
5. Exceptions
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund rights you may have that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence. Where such rights apply, they prevail over this Policy to the extent required by law.
In addition, because our payment provider, Paddle, acts as the merchant of record for your purchase, Paddle's own buyer terms and refund handling may apply. In some cases Paddle may process a refund or chargeback in accordance with its policies or applicable law.
We may also, at our sole discretion, issue a refund in exceptional circumstances (for example, a duplicate charge or a confirmed billing error). Doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.
6. Billing Errors
If you believe you have been charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge), contact us at support@getvalorex.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and, if we confirm an error, correct it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
